Robby grew up on a farm just north of Vulcan, Alberta. After being away for 10 years to pursue post secondary sports and education, and ultimately start his career, he moved back to Vulcan where he currently lives and works. He is an alumnus of both Lethbridge College and the University of Lethbridge where he received scholarships for academics and basketball. After earning a degree in business management with a major in finance, he was recruited to work at IG Wealth Management. In 2021, he joined forces with fellow colleague and mentor Ben Osmond, and was invited to join IG Private Wealth Management, a title reserved for the top performers in the country.

When not at work Robby enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and four daughters, riding his horses, and volunteering with sports programs within his community.
